בעבודה החדשה אני מסומן, אני צבעוני, כל אחד יכול לראות אותי מרחוק.
אני דמות; אפשר לפגוע בי.
בחרתי באפשרות הכי קשוחה, כי היא קלה וצלולה לי, אני חייב סיבתיות כנראה, להיות תלוש אני מרגיש זו משימה קלה מידי, ובמילא האיש התלוש הוא הפרטנר שלי, הוא ביקש ממני שאמצא לו מכשפת וודו, כמובן שסירבתי, אני לא מבין במכשפות לצערי.
לא ידעתי שיש מכשפות וודו כאן, מעניין מה הגבול, הרי הוא ביקש לנקום במישהו, למדתי לא לבקש הסברים, יכולתי להבין רק שאם אתחיל להיות שיפוטי זה יכול להתפרש כהתנשאות, ואיני יכול ואו מעוניין להיכנס לנישה הזו.
וזה די מסקרן למרות שבמילים אחרות לא כל כך מכובסות אפשר לראות איך אני מגיע למקום לא טוב לי, כבר אויימתי, נשאלתי איפה אני גר, מה שמי, רוצים לפגוע בי, זה טופל מצוין ע"י ההנהלה, למזלי ההנהלה מצוינת.

אמן בינתחומי -Sean Snyder – Disobedience in Tokyo

Sean Snyder is an artist who lives in Kyiv and Tokyo. He is represented by Galerie Chantal Crousel, Paris; Lisson Gallery, London; and Galerie Neu, Berlin.
Self-Interrogation on Research-Based Art—in real life I was confused how to explain being an artist with two El Al security guards. I was referring to the notion of interdisciplinarity after unintentionally answering the series of questions somewhat differently and they noticed—about art and architecture. I suppose not convincing enough as an artist. In the airport after giving the names and telephone numbers of two Israelis the head of El Al security he went to another room and supposedly called an architect and the curator Galit Eilat to verify I was an artist. On the flight, the El Al security guard sat in the row in front and upon landing we briefly discussed art. He had a good sense of humor.
